MEMORANDUM FOR RECORD
SUBJECT: Item Description, A27-023 Wheel Well Stands
1. The AMXG MXDEA/ KC-46 POM is requesting utilization of funds for the purchase of towable-dual height 757/767 Wheel Well Stands following features and specifications outlined below:
(a) Quantity: Twenty-five (25ea.)
(b) Shall be a COTS item.
(c) Adjustable Top deck size: 24"-36" wide and 20"-24" deep. (d) Top deck adjusts manually from 60" ± 5” to 80" ± 5" at a maximum without hydraulic equipment.
(e) Total Footprint less than or equal to 120" long x 60" wide (f) Top deck overhangs a minimum of 20" to allow for access over obstacles. (g) Skydrol resistant coating.
(h) Anti-Slip Stair Tread.
(i) Collapsible handrails along the sides of the stand. Railing or chain on the forward end of top step. Swivel casters with brakes.
(j) Removable tow bar on rear side.
(k) Contractor responsible for offloading equipment
(l) Include Operations and Maintenance (O&M) manual for the stand (m)
OSHA Compliant.
(n) Part to be delivered fully assembled
