*Please see RFP for details*Douglas County School District is soliciting responses from qualified suppliers for the design and construction of a lit private Wide Area Network (WAN) that is both resilient to outages and cost efficient to connect 91 District schools and facilities, listed in Attachment A - Master Site List, across a geographic area of approximately 900 square miles with a minimum connection of 1Gbps per site, and a SC (subscriber connector) fiber handoff.

The new service is expected to begin on July 1, 2028, which represents the expiration of the current leased WAN service.Questions and Responses must be submitted electronically through BidNet in the format required by the RFP and must be received no later than the date and time stated in the RFP.
