The Pomeroy Public Library is seeking bids for eligible broadband internal connections as well as managed internal broadband services for firewall services and components which are separate from our standard firewall protection.

The library is asking for service providers to list any software support, equipment, and also eligible expenses including the management and operation of the LAN/WLAN, including installation, activation, and initial configuration of eligible components and on-site training on the use of eligible equipment. Equipment or services produced or provided by a company that the FCC has designated as a national security threat to the integrity of communications networks or the communications supply chain are not eligible for E-Rate support.
Therefore, all bids must comply with national security standards. Firewall protection that is provided by a vendor other than the Internet access service provider or priced out separately will be considered a Category Two internal connections component. Bids should be posted to [contact in the Form 470] within 29 days from the date this Form 470 is certified.
Any bids received after that date may be excluded for consideration by the Library Director.
