In their words: internet access (Category 1)

School district seeks internet connectivity with speeds ranging from 1Gbps to 10Gbps. Contracts must align with eRate funding year and have a service start date of 7/1/2027 and end date of 6/30 of any given year.

Read the applicant's full note

Any changes to contract start dates due to service provider delivery delays must remain coterminous with originally bid contract end date terms. Contracts should include a clause allowing for speed upgrades within the terms of the contract and without impact to service dates. Contracts should explicitly state any and all voluntary contract extensions and terms.

Vendors must include contract wording that allows for penalty-free cancellation or reduction of lines in the event that a school or building is closed during the contract terms. All projects are subject to eRate fundability and Board approval. School reserves the right to reduce project(s) after seeing quotes where eRate funding and budgets are impacted.

All questions and bids are to be directed to the tech contact listed below. Vendors who would like to do a site visit must schedule with the tech contact; no walk-in site visits will be permitted. Vendor must be an eRate eligible provider with active SPIN listed on their bid, must not be on the USAC "red light" list, and must adhere to all state and local guidelines and restrictions.

Vendors are required by USAC to maintain sam.gov registration and maintain updated compliance paperwork with USAC; vendors who are not currently compliant may be eliminated from consideration. SPAM and/or robotic responses will not be considered valid bid responses and will be disqualified from consideration. All bids submitted prior to the applicants vendor selection will be given equal consideration, with no award made before the close of the 28-day posting period.
