Description
The CES Hazardous Waste and Toxics Program has identified the need for asbestos surveys, sampling, and reporting at Buckley Space Force Base (BSFB). This requirement is exclusively for the protection of military and civilian personnel performing maintenance on BSFB buildings, not for contractors performing contracted work or projects. The contractor will be required to provide all management, supervision, labor, tools, equipment, parts, transportation, supplies, and all other services necessary and be performed by a Certified Asbestos Building Inspector (CABI).
The CABI must be certified by Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment and meet the requirements of 25-7-507, C.R.S. and Air Quality Control Commission Regulation No. 8, Part B. All certifications and requirements will be reviewed by 460 CES/CEIE, Toxics Program Manager before contract award.
