The resulting contracts will be multiple-award Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) construction contracts. Work will be authorized through individually issued task orders. This acquisition is anticipated to be conducted using competitive negotiated procedures under FAR Part 15.

The Government intends to award multiple IDIQ construction contracts under FAR Subpart 16.5. Individual task orders will generally be awarded on a firm-fixed-price basis. The anticipated aggregate ceiling is $3 billion over an eight-year ordering period.

Individual construction requirements will be competed through task orders among eligible MACC awardees in accordance with the ordering procedures established in the resulting contracts. The solicitation and resulting contracts will include procedures for adding and removing awardees during that period (on/off ramp). The initial seed-project scope estimated construction magnitude, applicable evaluation factors, and proposal submission requirements will be provided in the solicitation.

SCOPE OF WORK Work under the MACC will primarily consist of general construction and may include, but is not limited to, maintenance, repair, painting, alterations, architectural work, mechanical systems, electrical systems, plumbing, heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC), civil work, earthwork, fencing, structural work, steel fabrication and welding, roofing, building renovations, demolition, new building construction, sustainable construction, design-bid-build, and design-build projects.

Individual task orders may include one or more construction disciplines and will vary in size, scope, and complexity. All work will be performed in accordance with the requirements, specifications, drawings, and other documents applicable to each individual task order.
