1.0 DESCRIPTION. The Contractor shall provide all necessary materials, equipment, travel, labor, installation, and training for a High Pressure, High Temperature Microwave Digestion System of the Single Reaction Chamber (SRC)/ Pressurized Digestion Cavity (PDC) Classification Type to the Maintenance Support Group (MXSG); Warner Robins Air Logistics Complex (WR-ALC) at Robins Air Force Base (AFB), Georgia. 1.1 The Contractor shall provide equipment with the following characteristics: • Microwave digestion instrument with minimum of 1500 W Magnetron Power • Digestion Technology Class: Single Reaction Chamber / Pressurized Digestion Cavity Type
• Must be capable of high pressure digestion to 199 bar maximum pressure • Must be capable of high temperature digestion to 300°C maximum • Must be equipped with magnetic stirring of each digestion vessel/liner • Must utilize contactless temperature sensor/control
• Must possess a position rack with TFM vials and caps, and a position rack with TFM vials and caps
• As an accessory: Must possess a transformer to step up 208VAC to 230VAC with a NEMA 6-15 plug
• Built in touchpad
• All materials and equipment supplied must be new and unused. Refurbished equipment and materials are not acceptable.
2.0 Service Support.
2.1 Delivery.
2.1.1 Government Representatives. The following individuals will serve as the Primary and Alternate Government Representatives as the points of contact through which all contractor-provided services will be requested and accomplished for MXSG. Government Representatives will not supervise the Contractor, and they are not empowered to make any contractual commitments or to authorize any contractual changes on the Government’s behalf. 2.2 Shipping/Delivery/Period of Performance. The Contractor shall coordinate the delivery and installation of the equipment listed in paragraph 1.1 within 5 business days of receiving the award.
