Question
Please provide survey data, in XYZ
format, for the survey conducted in
November 2023. Also confirm that
this survey is the most recent
conditional survey.
The dredge quantity table provided on
drawing sheet V-002 states material
from area RB-A 7/8 shall be disposed
at Whites Basin. Conversely
specification section 01 11 00, para.
1.2.1B states RB-A 7/8 material shall
be disposed at Biles Island. Please
clarify where material from RB-A 7/8
shall be disposed.
Is the Contractor responsible for
tipping fees at Biles Island and/or
Whites Basin? If so, please provide
contact information for representatives
of these two facilities so the tipping
fees can be obtained.
1.6.1.2
Section 01 45 00, para. 1.6.1.2,
requires the project QC manager to be
a registered professional engineer.
This is an uncommon certification for
QC managers on dredge projects. Will
the Government consider waiving the
PE requirement for the QC manager?
1.6.5.2
Section 01 45 00, para 1.6.5.2,
requires a project Fire Protection QC
Specialist. Will the Government
consider eliminating this requirement
for this project as this is uncommon
for dredging projects?
