Amendment 2: AOI - OTA CDC

Amendment 02 – AOI N6247027R0003 - Navy Child Development Centers (CDC) Industrialized Construction (IC) Projects via Other Transaction Authority (10 U.S.C. § 2808a)

The purpose of Amendment 02 is to:
1) Provide responses to Requests for Information (RFIs) #3-6. See below. Additional responses to received questions will be posted via future amendment.

Will this function similar to a MATOC? In other words, will the government be down selecting more than one contractor to have the opportunity to bid on each of these CDCs as they come out. Trying to interpret the under the award objective where it references vendor(s). A: The Government intends to shortlist multiple Vendors for Phase II Request for Project Proposal (RPP), and those selected will be invited to submit a comprehensive proposal, including pricing, for the CDCs identified under the OTA.

If you are selected, are you "assigned" a CDC or how will that work as it relates to the CDC locations. A: See response to RFI #3.

Will all 10 of these CDCs be included in OTA #4? Or is it possible that some of them wont be procured through the OTA. So for example, if [named removed] doesn't compete on this solicitation, is there a chance a location like Jacksonville, FL would come out individually at a later date? A: There are 11 CDCs identified in the AOI, and all CDC projects are intended to be awarded under the OTA.

Could you please advise of the best way for vendors to connect with other companies pursuing this OTA? A: An Interested Parties List will be collected and posted via future amendment.
