Amendment 2: Request for Quotations Questions CAO

Printing Requirements
•

Please provide the required artwork, print layout, pre-printed content (text, fields, logos, etc.), and the specified ink color (including PMS number, if applicable) for the one-color printing.
o

The requirement is for blank pressure-seal paper stock. The phrase "prints 1/1, 1 ink Blank based on customer Pref" refers to the product characteristics of the previously used stock and does not require preprinted content. Black in will be used when needed (see attachment).

Adhesive Pattern Specifications
•

Please provide the adhesive pattern requirements, including any drawings, templates, diagrams, dimensions, placement specifications, or existing form/product numbers that can be used as a reference.

The Government's previously used product was PSEMPV-BLANK. Offerors may use this information as a reference when preparing quotations. (see attachment for adhesive pattern.)

Sample or Existing Product Information
•

Is there a sample form, photograph, current form number, existing product specification, or prior manufacturer's information available that the contractor can use to match the required product?
o

The Government's previously used product was PSEMPV-BLANK. Offerors may use this information as a reference when preparing quotations.

Seal-MOCR Equipment Compatibility
•

Please clarify the "Seal-MOCR compatible" requirement and provide the make and model of the equipment on which the forms will be processed. o

Forms will be printed on Xerox Baltoro Commercial ink-jet printers and Nuvera 314 printers - then folded and sealed on Formax 2150 Series Production Pressure Sealers

Must offerors provide compatibility documentation or certification with their quotation, or will compatibility be verified through Government inspection and acceptance.
o

Samples must be tested.

Paper and Product Specifications
•

Please clarify the required paper weight (including the meaning of "Sub-28 lb.") and provide any additional technical specifications, such as perforations, fold and glue tolerances, paper finish, grain direction, or other manufacturing requirements. o

The Government's previously used product was PSEMPV-BLANK. Offerors may use this information as a reference when preparing quotations. 283 is the 28lb Bond paper - Match the PSEMPV-BLANK.

Proofs and Approval Process
•

Will the contractor be required to submit proofs or production samples for approval prior to manufacturing? If so, what is the approval process and is approval time
