1. General Information

1.1. Introduction

This announcement is for Automated Manufacturing of Cannon Components/Area of Interest (AoI) under the ACC-WVA Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO) W911PT26SC001. Interested parties are highly encouraged to visit the Government Point of Entry (www.sam.gov) to review the ACC-WVA special posting in its entirety to obtain more information on the process for submission and evaluation of the CSO AoI Responses.
This CSO AoI seeks to solicit solutions that meet the objectives detailed in Section 1.2 and 1.3 below. The authority to issue this CSO AoI is derived from ACC-WVA Commercial Solutions Opening W911PT26SC001 dated 16 April 2026. 1.2 AoI Background

Watervliet Arsenal (WVA) is actively seeking innovative engineering and technology solutions to automated chemical dosing systems which will monitor and maintain the water quality of cooling water in the open-loop Horizontal Gun Tube Heat Treat Furnace as well as the closed-loop Radial Forge mandrel cooling water systems.
1.3 WVA is requesting commercial solutions for automated chemical dosing systems for both closed and open loop cooling water systems. Desired end state would be a water quality monitoring system and controls the dosing in a fully automated state. The end system may have gauges or graphical output displays/readouts that notify personnel when the conductivity exceeds acceptable parameters. The end system is desired to have an automatic dosing system which periodically adds corrosion inhibitors and microbicide to prevent the growth of bacteria and algae. The system should have an alarm or similar notification output (Graphical User Interface) which alerts operators and other personnel when the control limits exceed acceptable parameters such as exceed water conductivity thresholds, low levels of additive, and other critical parameters. The end system should not require manual intervention to add chemicals.
