1.0

Background and Purpose

1.1 Background: This is a services contract for janitorial services for the Pagsoa Ranger District, 180 Pagosa Springs, Colorado.
1.2 Scope of Work: The Contractor shall provide all transportation, labor, equipment, supervision, materials, and supplies (except those listed as Government Furnished Property), necessary to perform janitorial services located at the Pagosa Ranger District, Pagosa Springs, CO 81147, in a manner that will maintain a satisfactory conditions and present a clean, neat and professional appearance. The floor plan for the building is included on page 13.
1.3 Description of Services: The Pagosa Ranger District facility is a single-story building consisting of approximately 5,437 square feet of interior floor space. The facility includes two enclosed offices with carpeted flooring, 28 carpeted work cubicles, four collaborative or shared-use rooms with carpet or vinyl tile flooring, and two separate restrooms, each containing one toilet and tile flooring. Hallways are finished with tile, and the front foyer and main entrance are finished with vinyl tile. Although the building is primarily single-story, the contractor may be required to use a ladder to access all exterior windows. 1.4 Site Visit: A tour of the worksite can be arranged by contacting Brandon Caley at [email protected].
1.5 Place of Performance: Pagosa Ranger District, 180 Pagosa Springs, Colorado 81147 1.6 Government Regular Working Hours: The Government’s regular working hours are Monday through Friday from 0800-1630 except federal observed holidays. Contractor Hours of Performance: Daily services shall be performed Monday through Friday between the hours of 1700 and 0630. Weekly services shall be performed at any time either on Saturday or Sunday. The annual service shall be performed at any time either on Saturday or Sunday; however, it shall not be conducted on the same day that weekly services are performed. Note: No children shall be permitted on government premises working under a janitorial contract, unless they are at least 16 years old in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
