Question

Would the Army consider a small business that performs the work through a qualified local gate service partner? Will the Government consider a small-business or SDVOSB set-aside based on market-research responses? If a GSA MAS contact is available will the government consider use of the GSA MAS vehicle? Please confirm the base-period length, anticipated start date, and intended procurement schedule. Have the gates been maintained under a preventative maintenance schedule in previous years? Does the government have an incumbent contractor/subcontractor who is or was servicing the gates and who? Please provide the incumbent contract number, contractor, annual value, and historical call-out volumes or repair expenditures, if available.
Will the Government schedule or authorize a site visit (or individual site visits) so that interested parties may inspect the automated security gates and associated equipment identified in Appendix A of the Statement of Objectives prior to submitting responses to this RFI?
Will the Government offer a site visit before responses or future quotations are due? Can equipment ages, condition assessments, and known deficiencies be provided?
