Question

Answer

Does the Rice Building have 5 or 6 elevators? Is there two #1 Cars? When we surveyed the building last week, we were only shown 5 elevators ( Bank of 4 and then a Service Car). This listing below has 6 units shown on the Bid.

The Rice facility has five elevators in total: four
passenger elevators and one freight elevator. An
amendment will be issued to remove the last row
shown in the provided screenshot.

Is the expectation that we complete preventative maintenance monthly, along with the monthly fire service testing?

Yes, the expectation is that you complete
preventative maintenance monthly and be onpremise in accordance with Section C.10. Maintenance services must comply with ASME
A17.1 and A18.1, which include fire service recall
and operation, as well as rules for testing and
maintenance.

I am reading the Scope of Work as being that service calls we respond to at nights and weekends (Overtime), will be billable at the overtime hourly rate that we submit. Will all overtime calls be billable?

Please ensure you read Sections C.11, C.12, and
C.13, as they specify whether the contractor will be
reimbursed for services. Please note that
references to Section B in these sections refer to
Attachment B.

On Attachment B you want the monthly base price for all elevators in Cell E7-EJ and the hourly rates for E13,14,15 thru Yes, that is correct.
J13,14,15?
