Purpose: The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) for market-research purposes to identify capable sources; available commercial solutions; current industry practices; potential acquisition approaches; and relevant technical, schedule, lifecyclesupport, and cost information for the design, engineering, fabrication, delivery, installation, integration, testing, certification/validation, and commissioning of a Joint Maritime Training Facility (JMTF) live-fire maritime/urban training system. The contemplated requirement is for a complete and operational live-fire training system at the USCG Special Missions Training Center (SMTC), Courthouse Bay, Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. The system must integrate ballistic containment with maritime and urban training features and be suitable for repeated use in an outdoor coastal environment. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 236220.
