SUBMISSION OF INFORMATION ABOUT PRICING, DELIVERY, THE MARKET, AND CAPABILITIES IS HIGHLY ENCOURAGED AND ALLOWED UNDER THIS RFI FOR PLANNING PURPOSES IN ACCORDANCE WITH (IAW) FAR 15.201(e).

SOURCES SOUGHT/RFI DESCRIPTION

This is NOT a solicitation announcement. This is a Sources Sought Notice / RFI only. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice / RFI is to gain information about potential qualified sources and their size classification relative to NAICS 325413 (size standard of 1,250 Employees). Responses to this Sources Sought Notice / RFI will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this Sources Sought Notice / RFI, further RFIs and/or a solicitation or other announcements may be published. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 22, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 22, is seeking a single vendor who can provide Hemochron Signature Elite Reagents for a base year and four (4) option years. The services shall be furnished at the following F.O.B. destinations

This procurement is seeking a brand name or equal product IAW 52.211-6 -- Brand Name or Equal. The list of DRAFT characteristics is intended to be descriptive, not restrictive, of the supplies/services that are required. See Attachment A for brand name, make and part numbers. Fill out Attachment A as appropriate. For exact brand, make, and part items, please complete Tabs 1-5 Base and Options, Columns G only, on Attachment A of the attached Excel Spreadsheet. Do not enter data into other cells.

The information identified above and in attachment A is intended to be descriptive, not restrictive and to indicate the quality of the supplies/services that will be satisfactory. It is the responsibility of the interested source to demonstrate to the government that the interested parties can provide the supplies/services that fulfill the required specifications.
