BAR GRATING AND SADDLE CLIPS

By completing the SARC and PROC-FRM-466, or

By email.
If by virtue of this Amendment you desire to change a bid already submitted, such change may be made by email, provided such email reference the Solicitation and this Amendment, and is received prior to the due date hour.
The above reference Solicitation is amended as follows: This amendment provides clarification to the technical specification:
1. Grating bar center spacing
Response: Grating bar spacing is 19-W-4, 1-3/16” on center spacing. Bearing bar 1-1/2” tall x 3/16” thk
2. Material: Is the grating made of carbon steel?
Response: Carbon steel
3. Surface Condition: Should the surface be smooth or serrated? Response: Smooth
4. Surface Finish: Is the required finish bare/mill finish, galvanized, or another finish? Response: Galvanized
5. Bar Spacing: What is the required bar spacing (e.g., 19-W-4)? Response: 19-W-4
6. End Banding: Is end banding required, or are standard saw-cut open ends acceptable? Response: Trim banding
7. Bearing Bar Thickness: What is the required bearing bar thickness (e.g., 1-1/2" × what thickness)? Response: Bearing bar thickness 3/16”
All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
