This purchase is being conducted under the authority of FAR 12. OCP has determined that Advanced Control Corp Inc. (ACC) is the only source reasonably available to satisfy this requirement. ACC originally installed and currently maintains the existing Building Automation System (BAS) at the Miami Animal Import Center. Modernization requires replacement of obsolete controllers and integration with the existing system. Utilizing ACC will maintain compatibility with functioning equipment, avoid unnecessary infrastructure replacement, and minimize potential disruptions to temperature monitoring and control within animal quarantine areas.
