Sources Sought Notice - Nationwide Rental Vehicle Program

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary, and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. As part of its market research, the Alcohol Tobacco Firearms & Explosives (ATF); Acquisition Management Division (AMD); Resource Management Branch (RMB) is issuing this Sources Sought to determine if there exist an adequate number of qualified interested Small Business contractors capable of providing solutions to meet the requirement. The Government may use the responses to this Sources Sought for information and planning purposes. The Government is seeking companies that have the capability to establish a nationwide rental vehicle program for the Bureau as a whole, managed through a single national office rather than multiple local vehicle distributors. The vendor shall provide this service through a dedicated and experienced team, identified by name, title, and relevant experience, to the ATF program office. This Sources Sought is only for the purpose of identifying potential Small Businesses as part of the ATF/AMD market research. No Request for Quote (RFQ) exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the RFQ.
Responses to this Sources Sought are not quotes on which ATF/AMD can issue any contract. This Sources Sought is issued for information and planning purposes only and does not itself constitute an RFQ. The Government does not intend to award a contract based only on responses to this Sources Sought.
All information received in response to this Sources Sought marked will be protected and handled accordingly. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary or competition sensitive information contained in their response. The Government reserves the right to ask follow-up clarifying questions to individual companies based on proprietary information submitted without posting those questions.
Responses to the Sources Sought will not be returned. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this Sources Sought. ATF/AMD will not pay for information received in response to this Sources Sought. Due to the sensitive nature of this requirement, the Performance Work Statement (PWS) will not be publicly posted.
