GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
1.1 SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
Refer to section 01 35 26, SAFETY REQUIREMENTS for safety and infection control requirements.
1.2 GENERAL INTENTION
A. Contractor shall completely prepare site including demolition and removal of existing site features and furnish labor and materials and perform work indicated in the statement of work and construction documents.
B. Visits to the site by Bidders may be made only by appointment with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR).
C. Before placement and installation of work subject to tests by Contractor’s testing laboratory the Contractor shall notify the COR in sufficient time to enable oversight for taking and testing of specimens by Contractor and field inspection. Such prior notice shall be not less than three workdays unless otherwise designated by the COR.
D. All employees of general contractor and subcontractors shall comply
with
VA
security
management
program
and
obtain
permission of the VA police, be identified by project and employer, and restricted from unauthorized access.
