STATEMENT OF WORK
1. Objective/Requirements
Purchase of a digital control and monitoring system for the vacuum chamber, vacuum pumps, and other facility information via PLC with limited recording and alarming abilities.
2. Characteristics, Scope, and Specs
The PLC shall perform the following:
• AB CompactLogix 5069-L320ER preferred
• Inputs:
o 32 Thermocouples, R, S, K, C
o 24 Analog Inputs
o 16 Discrete Inputs
• Outputs
o 32 simple Discrete Output such as 5069-OB16
o 32 relay outputs such as 5069-OW16
o 4 isolated relay outputs such as 5069-OW4I
o 4+ Analog Outputs
• Communication
o 6 Serial ports RS-232, Modbus RS-485
o Ethernet, dual preferred.
• AB 15” PanelView
• FactoryTalk Studio ME for the PanelView. We have the PLC software already. • Allen-Bradly support for 1 year.
• Optional: PC Historian/Data Recording software solution for above IO. Previous standard is to record at will at 10 Hz for only a few hours at once. 10 Hz not a requirement.

MSFC Building 4205 Lab 104
4. Period of Performance
PLC will be used as a facility upgrade and support should be offered for 1 year.
