Galaxy VS Cable and Conduit Box for a 20.5-inch-wide UPS with batteries and maintenance bypass cabinet.
Galaxy VS 9 Ah Smart Modular High Capacity Battery String. Five additional strings, separate from the two included with the UPS; seven strings total.
One-year on-site warranty extension for one Galaxy VS 10–15 kW, 208 V UPS.
Assembly service for one GVS 10–15 kVA UPS.
Scheduled assembly service, 5x8, for one Galaxy VS modular battery frame with up to six battery strings.
Shipping and handling to Brookhaven National Laboratory, Upton, NY 11973.
Galaxy VS Modular Battery Cabinet for up to six smart modular battery strings.
Required Runtime
The complete configuration shall provide 155 minutes of runtime at an 8.25 kW load and 76.5 minutes at a 15 kW load.

Scope and Quotation Instructions

Specified Equipment
Quotations may be submitted by any source able to furnish the identical specified equipment and required services. Alternative or equivalent products are not acceptable. The specified configuration resulted from engineering coordination between BNL and the manufacturer.
Assembly Start Up and Warranty
Provide the listed UPS and battery frame assembly services. Assembly and start-up shall be performed by the manufacturer to preserve warranty coverage. Include the listed 5x8 services and one-year on-site UPS warranty extension. Identify the manufacturer service arrangements and warranty coverage in the quotation.
Electrical Installation
Electrical installation will be handled separately by BNL and is excluded from this solicitation. Coordinate assembly and manufacturer start-up with BNL and its separate electrical installation activities.
Delivery
Deliver to Brookhaven National Laboratory, Upton, NY 11973. Confirm delivery availability and identify lead times and the proposed assembly and start-up schedule in the quotation.
