Amendment 0004
Solicitation: 36C26026Q0977, White City Oregon Boiler Inspections. Questions from potential offerors:
Questions: Amendment 0002 states that the awarded contractor will be responsible for inspection and certificate fees. However, a potential inspection provider advised that these fees may be payable by the facility and that federal property may be exempt. Could you please confirm:- Whether Oregon inspection and certificate fees apply to the equipment at the White City VA facility; and- If applicable, whether the contractor should include both fees in its proposed pricing or whether the VA will pay them directly. Answer from the boiler plant operator:
Any fees generated by the Contractor / Subcontractor in providing these certifications and inspection reports are to be paid by the contractor. The State does not issue the VA an Operational Certificate so there is no need for this or any fees involved with the operating Certificate.
