Armored Car Services for Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) Securities

Dated 11 02 2026

PART 1 GENERAL INFORMATION

General: This is a non-personnel services contract to provide truck shipments of BEP Securities. The Government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services herein. Such contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who, in turn is responsible to the Government. The BEP, Office of Manufacturing Support (OSM), Warehouse & Materials Distribution Division (WMDD), is looking to enter into a Contract Agreement for armored truck services for the purpose of hauling security products between facilities; District Currency Facility (DCF) in Washington, DC and the Western Currency Facility (WCF) in Fort Worth, Texas. A Contract Agreement pursuant to these specifications will provide WMDD with a source for satisfying the shipping requirements of BEP security products for (DCF) and (WCF). Monthly services requirements may vary and will be based on production requirements.

Description of Services/Introduction: The contractor shall provide all personnel (with documented required security clearances, CDL licenses, and any other licenses needed), vehicles (which conform to all height and weight restrictions), equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non- personal services necessary to perform the armored truck services defined in this Performance Work Statement except for those items specified as government furnished property and services. The contractor shall perform to the standards in this contract.

Background: The BEP is a component of the Department of the Treasury that designs, engraves, and prints United States (U.S.) currency and other United States security products. Currency operations are conducted at both the Bureau’s DCF and the WCF. The BEP has a need for transportation delivery services of securities to various locations throughout the US.

Objectives: The BEP has a requirement for armored truck services for the purpose of hauling currency and security products between various locations in the Washington DC/Baltimore, MD. region, between the DCF in Washington, DC and the WCF in Fort Worth, Texas, as well as other locations within the lower 48 states. Service requirements may vary and may be based on production requirements. It is the policy of the BEP to establish, maintain, and promote the highest standards of security for the transportation of shipments of currency, securities, and mail for the BEP.
