AREA(S) OF INTEREST (AOI) & MISSION ORGANIZATION ALIGNMENT

The 374th Contracting Squadron (374 CONS) is seeking innovative technologies and services related to the areas of mission or technical interest listed below at Yokota Air Base (YAB), Japan. Submissions should propose commercial solutions that fill capability needs related to refuse disposal and/or incinerator operation. Through this CSO, the U.S. Government aims to enhance waste management efficiency, ensure compliance with environmental regulations, and provide sustainable and cost-effective solutions that support both short-term and long-term objectives. The level of detail provided for each topic or the order in which they appear is not intended to convey any information regarding relative priority. 374 CONS is seeking solutions that address one or both of the following Areas of Interest (AOIs). Offerors are encouraged to propose innovative solutions that leverage commercial best practices and emerging technologies. Submissions may address individual AOIs, a combination of both, or propose alternative approaches that meet the government’s objectives. 374 CONS intends to fund successful efforts in Fiscal Year 2028 (FY28) with periods of performance in the range of approximately 5 years. Exceptions may be considered for individual projects based on need. The U.S. government reserves the right to fund all, some, one or none of the proposals submitted; may elect to fund only part of a submitted proposal; and may incrementally fund any or all awards under this CSO. All awards are subject to the availability of funds.
Individual contracts are possibly to be funded in the range upwards of $150,000, over the full period of performance, yet this estimate should not be considered a strict limit. Proposals/solutions exceeding this range will only be accepted if they demonstrate the ability to deliver capable, innovative solutions that directly impact the mission and offer cost savings or improved efficiencies in current processes or procedures.
