FCI Three Rivers - B&F PROJECT
Replace Generators 1 & 2, Infrastructure, Transformer
I. SPECIFICATIONS:

A. INTRODUCTION
The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP), Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Three Rivers, located at Highway 72 West, Three Rivers, Texas 78071, intends to award a single contract to a qualified contractor. The contractor shall provide all equipment, labor, materials, and related services required to replace the facility’s two existing back-up generators, transformers and electrical infrastructure.
Bids for this project shall be complete and provide a fully operational installation in accordance with the requirements herein.
B. SCOPE OF WORK
The intent of this project is to replace existing two back-up generators and associated electrical infrastructure as noted in attached construction drawings and specifications.
FCI Three Rivers will remain operational during the entire project. The contractor shall submit a phasing plan for approval that minimizes electrical outages to the greatest extent possible, while providing the labor and resources necessary to accomplish work that requires those outages in the shortest timeframe possible. For all outages exceeding 24 hours, the contractor shall provide temporary means to supply affected facilities with electrical power during the construction process.
