Questions & Clarifications

Award is anticipated to be made ~4 weeks after the solicitation response date. A formal delivery schedule with firm calendar dates will be negotiated and established at the time of final award. Offerors should provide a realistic production schedule that accounts for appropriate process durations and associated activities. Please note that LBNL will be closed December 24, 2026, through January 1, 2027.
LBNL is committed to meeting the review and turnaround times specified for each hold point. Weekends, federal holidays and the aforementioned LBNL closure are excluded from the stated turnaround times and will need to be considered.
Regarding Section 6.2.3, “Per Hold Points 1 & 3, the Notice to Proceed (NTP) to Ship is contingent upon LBNL’s receipt and approval of the following,” this requirement applies to authorization to ship the final batch. The specific requirements for each individual hold point are detailed in the table in Section 4.3.
When all required quality assurance documentation is submitted together as a complete package, LBNL anticipates a review period of 10 business days or less. If documentation is submitted incrementally or in separate installments, the review period may extend to 20 business days. Please consider the above when providing a schedule.
Price Proposal Schedule, Attachment A, RFP AA-1017-02 Rev. 2 is hereby incorporated with the below revised Quantity and Delivery Schedule.
