Onsite to perform the 2026 PMA. ADB noticed no current/existing alarms in the ALCMS upon arrival. Consulted with the customer for any details on past failures or concerns since ADB’s previous visit.
Customer initiated findings.
08 Strobe Lights intermittently do not flash when 08 Approach Lights are activated. Causing personnel to physically go to end of RWY in the airfield to cycle power to activate the 08 Strobes. This does not happen on the opposite end of the RWY for 26 Approach or Strobes.
The Taxiway Lighting Page does not allow for an option of step selection similar to that of the Runway Lighting Page. This causes the TWY lights to always automatically jump to the highest step thus creating a visible intensity disparity in the airfield between the two.
Circuit 08 Approach CCR believed to have bad caps.
Asking for clarity on order of operation in sequence from Approach to Strobe lights activation. Strobe lights cannot be independently activated. Approach lights MUST be activated in order for Strobes to activate. Customer is inquiring if this is by design or can be separated in the project for independent usage. Field observations and findings

ADB initiated findings and results.
After some troubleshooting it was found that the 08 Strobe was actually activated in Step 1 in the ALCMS Portal. This perhaps is what was causing the conflict in communication when receiving the command through the touchscreen graphics page. Once this was found, the 08 Strobe circuit was taken back to its normal condition of Step 0 and UNLOCKED and De-Registered. After doing so, the 08 Strobe began to operate properly and after several tests we could not duplicate the error we had received upon arrival.
Replaced bulb in PAPI position 2 on Approach 26 side. Issue is resolved.
Customer ordered a new set of TIC (time-in-a-can) for each active circuit prior to ADB arrival. Per customer’s request replaced and verified each active circuit with the newly sent TICs and will use the previously existing ones as a spare backup for their respective circuit. Each active circuit CCR has a verified and functioning TIC as well as a backup TIC for future use. This matter is resolved.
Inspected all network devices and verified connectivity across all
