10:00 AM, 30 Oct 2026 - Cape Canaveral SFS
NOTES/QUESTIONS
Office space containers and office furniture inside will not be moved. Fire/Hazard Cabinets will not be moved by the contractor. Small and loose items will be placed into containers with government coordination and otherwise should be placed in boxes provided by the contractor. Amount of loose items anticipated is minor. Contractors will move items in the longue space. TV and one ice box included. Of two ice boxes one is attached to the plumbing of the building, this unit will not be moved. Contractors should include two priced offers. One with moving of the shelves in the hangar spaces and one without. Shelves in the hangar spaces of buildings to be cleared are bolted to the floor and the government needs to assess if it is economical to replace them rather than move them. The government then may elect not to include the dismantling, moving, and reassembly of shelves as part of the award. Placement of items in the new building will all be on the 1 st floor. A layout plan of item placement for the new building will be provided by amendment to the solicitation at a later date.
The new/destination building “Hangar AO” contains metal shelving not bolted to the floor that will need to moved to other rooms in the building.
The government is moving all items placed on trailers for truck towing. Pictures will be provided of items not to be moved by the contractor.
The government is moving all currently palletized items. Pictures will be provided of items not to be moved by the contractor.
The military container/connex unit will be moved by the government. Many items central to the hangar spaces will be moved by the government as described above. See pictures provided in solicitation amendment (pending) for clarification on what will not be moved.
Please await further amendment to the sam.gov solicitation. The government will be updating the SOW in line with conditions discussed in the document and identified at the site. Once final amendment is made, vendors will be provided 4-5 business days to respond to the solicitation. Vendors are responsible for checking sam.gov for updates to the solicitation. An additional site visit is not planned or determined to be necessary at this time.
