B&F Project 26Z4AJ9 – Replace Heat and Condensate Pumps

STATEMENT OF WORK

I. INTRODUCTION:

A. The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP), FCC Terre Haute, intends to solicit the purchase and delivery of heating condensate pump and motor assemblies required to support facility mechanical operations. B. This solicitation is Supply Only; no installation, removal, or onsite services are included. C. All equipment supplied must meet the specifications contained within this Statement of Work. Equal products must be submitted with full technical documentation for Government evaluation. D. The Government retains the right to determine product equivalency and technical acceptability.

II. EXISTING CONDITIONS:

A. The facility currently operates heating condensate pumps and motor assemblies that have exceeded their service life.

III. REQUIREMENTS:

A. Pump Assembly One

1. The Contractor shall supply Four (4) complete condensate pump and motor assemblies. a. Equipment Specifications:

1. Pump Requirements:

a. Equivalent to Shipco Model 128P
b. Horizontal mount configuration.
c. Compatible with JM 284/286 motor frame.
d. Must meet or performance standards of Shipco 128P or equal.

2. Motor Requirements:

a. 25 horsepower (HP).
b. 460 volts, 3-phase, 60 Hz.
c. Horizontal mount.
d. 3500 RPM nominal operating speed.
e. JM 284/286 frame classification.
f. Motor shall be industrial-duty and suitable for continuous service.

3. General Equipment Requirements:

a. All equipment shall be new and free from defects in materials or workmanship. b. Packaging and shipping methods shall protect all components from damage.

B. Pump Assembly Two

1. The Contractor shall supply Two (2) complete condensate pump and motor assemblies. a. Equipment Specifications:

1. Pump Requirements:

a. Equivalent to Belle & Gossett Domestic Series Centriflo Vacuum Pump Model#658PF b. Vertical mount configuration.
c. Compatible with 213TCVC motor frame.
d. Must meet performance standards of Belle & Gossett Domestic Series Centriflo Vacuum Pump Model#658PF or equal.

2. Motor Requirements:

a. 7.5 horsepower (HP).
b. 208-230/460 volts, 3-phase, 60 Hz.
c. Vertical mount.
d. 1750 RPM nominal operating speed.
e. 213TCVC frame classification.
f. Motor shall be industrial-duty and suitable for continuous service.

3. General Equipment Requirements:

a. All equipment shall be new and free from defects in materials or workmanship.
