SUBJECT: Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) Guidance Memorandum (GM) to AFI 21101_AFMCSUP, Aircraft and Equipment Maintenance Management. By order of the Commander, Air Force Materiel Command, this AFMC Guidance Memorandum immediately changes AFI 21-101_AFMCSUP, dated 10 November 2020. Compliance with this Memorandum is mandatory. To the extent its directions are inconsistent with other AFMC publications, the information herein prevails, in accordance with DAFI 90-160, Publications and Forms Management. Ensure all records created as a result of processes prescribed in this publication are maintained in accordance with AFI 33-322, Records Management and Information Governance Program, and disposed of in accordance with the Air Force Records Disposition Schedule located in the Air Force Records Management System.
This GM incorporates DAFI21-101_AFMCSUP_AFMCGM 2022-01, dated 5 July 2022, that implemented the reorganization and transfer of United States Space Force responsibility to publish MAJCOM level supplemental guidance to DAFI 21-101, Aircraft and Equipment Maintenance Management, to AFMC as the identified servicing MAJCOM. Additionally, this GM added a requirement under Maintenance Group Commander responsibilities to establish local procedures for application intervals of HydroSkip on F-16 transparencies and it incorporates two recommendations for change of publication. This Memorandum becomes void after one year has elapsed from the date of this Memorandum, or upon publication of an Interim Change or rewrite of DAFI21-101_AFMCSUP, whichever is earlier.
