1 Introduction

1.1 Purpose of SOW

The objective of this Statement of Work (SOW) is to detail the technical requirements relating to Task Order #1 against the scaffolding services IDIQ subcontract #382472-BM. This work will be conducted underground at the 4850’ and 4910’ level of the SURF site. The work will be performed at the SURF site, located in Lead South Dakota.

1.2 Assumptions

The Subcontractor shall be responsible to the Laboratory for the acts and omissions of their employees, agents or sub-tier Subcontractors.
The SURF site location is 100 Ross Rd, Lead SD 57754.
FFDG reserves the right to make minor, non-structural changes to the scaffolding when operational need dictates. Any minor changes shall be made by an FFDG Competent Person with prior coordination and communication with the Subcontractor.

1.3 Timeline

A kickoff meeting shall be scheduled at a mutually agreed upon date, time, and location as soon as practical after award of the Task Order. The primary purpose for this meeting is to confirm that the project participants understand the SOW, the specifications and drawings, the safety and the quality assurance requirements, and the work activities involved with each task.
